Profile

My hands-on experience in golf course management coupled by a professional education, have helped guide me to this point of success in my career. I have gained the knowledge, leadership capabilities, and high level of golf course management skills that allows me to produce for my club.

Before golf, I spent a good portion of my professional career in the military and as a government contractor, being an advisor and trainer for Special Operations. While working in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other middle eastern countries, I supported special operations units as an Electronic Warfare Operator and Intelligence Analyst. Due to this, I developed a passion for the horticulture industry. That’s right… the desert made me grow fond of stuff that’s green!

While still in the military and contracting, I began working on my degree with Penn State in Turf Science. I was working a full-time job, running a landscaping business, and completing internships, all while going to school. I know how to manage time effectively and complete objectives. Since then, I’ve worked at many top-end courses in North Carolina and Texas alike, including TPC San Antonio, Boot Ranch, and my current tenure at River Crossing. The military forged me into a leader. Government contracting developed my mentoring and training mindset. My experience at multiple golf facilities have prepared me for any challenge or project at your club.

In addition to my passion for turfgrass, I enjoy golfing and understand how the course should play to its membership. I welcome all feedback and opinions from the membership on course conditioning and playability. I am confident in my professional talents and strive to advance my career as a superintendent for a club committed to excellence.
